Exploration

The most important thing to learn, is how to get to point B from point A. While playing the game isn't always a straight line, knowing how to find your way will allow you to navigate and explore without becoming frustrated or hopelessly lost.

Game Map

The Game Map is your most important navigation tool. It shows you the surrounding area and your current position in that area. The center square in the middle of the map will always be red. This marks your current location on the map. The map will always move around you, which may take a little getting used to. Above the map is the name of the area you are currently in. If you need to meet up with someone or have someone find you, you can easily tell them where you are. As you explore, you will learn which areas connect to which.

Movement Pad

The Movement Pad is invaluable to know where you can go immeadiately. If a direction is grayed out on the Movement Pad, you can't advance in that direction. Using the Game Map and Movement pad together will allow you to navigate the game much more easily. It is a simple skill to pick up, and many people take it for granted or do not realize they are doing it.

Who's Online List

Another final way to get to an actual player, is to type /who in the Input Bar. A list of all the players will pop up, and next to each person's name is the current area they are in. This is very helpful if you need to rendevouz with someone!

Arrow Keys

Most people come to use the arrow keys exclusively for moving around: North is Up Arrow, South is Down Arrow, East is Right Arrow, West is Left Arrow, Up is Page Up, and Down is Page Down.
